David Earl Armstrong

He graduated from Reitz Memorial High School in 1979 and was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 136 from 1983-2013. He was also a dedicated volunteer for St. Paul’s UCC Open Gym after school program. Dave loved working with his hands and had a passion for art. He was a devoted grandfather and had a love of nature and birds in particular.

Dave is survived by his daughter, Catherine Fehd (Aaron); son, Steven Armstrong; their mother, Jeanne Dwyer; son, Zach Dillon (Sharmayne); son, Brent Dillon; daughter, LaTonia Dillion; daughter Jessica Claridge (Ben); their mother , Gina Dillon; 8 ½ grandchildren; his father, David Armstrong (Christine); sister, Tammy Oliver (Jay); brothers, Don Armstrong (Kim) and Nick Maccarrone (Judy), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrna and niece Emma.

A Memorial Service will be 2:30PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the home of his sister. Friends may visit 12:00PM until service time. Dave’s ashes will be scattered in Bissett Bay in Oak Hill, FL.
