

David Grant Wilson, born on October 23, 1952, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the age of 70 after a long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by parents Audrey R. Wilson, John M. Clark, and adopted father Harold E. Wilson. He is survived by brother William E. Wilson, sister Fawn Willis, wife Barbara Wilson, and daughter Candice Teal.
David received a Bachelor degree in Forestry from University of Muchich, a Bachelor degree from UCLA in Business Administration and Management and Master degree in Administrative Justice from UCLA. David received his Research Doctorate in Economics from Capella University. David was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the Army.
From 1975 to 1990, David was a Park Ranger for the California Department of Parks and Recreation, part of the Critical Rescue Team. He and his wife moved closer to her family and he worked for 17 years as a Project Manager at Shoe Sensation all over the Tri-State area. For the past 9 years, David worked at United Caring Services as the Night Shelter Coordinator.
David loved to help everyone around him succeed. He wrote poetry, loved art, had many awards for sharp-shooting during his time as a Park Ranger, and loved See's Chocolates and Candy which he brought back every time he went to visit California.
