I am so sad to see we have lost another loving Goode son!  They were like my brothers growing up, spent a lot of time with their family!  Delbert was a great guy just like they all are and will be missed but never forgotten!  My prayers and love to the family!!

Uncle Delbert you were a great Uncle. You had to be to put up with us Garner kids when we were growing up. You will always be loved and missed. That is such a great picture of Delbert I can not imagine him any other way...THAT's Delbert, smiling and carrying on, having a great time, laughing and telling jokes. He was the spirit of easy going, We will miss him dearly

 I have always enjoyed your company, making me feel welcome in a family that is not mine; by blood. This really extends to all the Goode family. I and many others, will miss you deeply.

It's hard to find the words to describe how we felt about Delbert. We were so looking forward to having him and Betty come stay with us next month for a few days of fun, fishing, and great times. Delbert would do anything for you and he was such a hard worker. We feel very fortunate to have spent time with them last year. He will be truly missed by all. Had the pleasure to work with Delbert for the past 10 years. He was definitely a very unique individual. His use of words never ceased to amaze me. He had an incredible sense of humor. Delbert, I appreciate everything you have taught me in our time working together. Your presence and stories will be missed. Praying for you family during this difficult time.

I started working with Delbert 20+ years ago in a small job trailor in Lawrenceville, IL. Delebrt continuously went out of his way to teach the trade to me. He graciously took the time to share his wealth of knowledge. I learned field techniques and design procedures that would normally take ten to fifteen years to acquire on ones own. I consider myself very lucky to have had that time with Delbert and his patience. He has been a major positive influence on my work career and a good friend for all these years.

Delbert will most definitely be missed.  He was a very hard and dedicated worker but would always take time to lighten the mood.  He had a heart of gold and was always looking out for others.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and the Family.

Delbert, you were one of my brothers and I loved you very much. You tried to act so tough but I know you have the heart of a big softie especially when it comes to your kids and grand babies. You will be greatly missed by us all.

I want to express my sincere condolences to all of Delbert's family. First met Delbert 10+ years ago when we worked together on projects that QualEx was performing for us. I had a lot of respect for Delbert both professionally and personally. My prayers are with Betty and all of the family. I know Delbert is sharing a story others right now.
