Della G Coe

Della G. Coe, 72, of Newburgh, IN, passed away August 6, 2018. She was born in Pine Buff, AR, on September 8, 1945, to the late James and Marie Payne. She worked as a warehouse supervisor at Apex Supply Company. She was a member of the WBA – Women’s Bowling Association. Della was very involved in peewee football and drill team with her kids and grandkids. She was a master seamstress and crochet artist, and loved nature and animals of all types, especially birds. Della is survived by her daughters, Donna Kay Jones Covington (L.D.), Dana Christine Jones (Michael Gunderloy), Dorothy Marie Coe; son, Douglas Glenn Jones (Lynette); 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Joyce Jones, Brenda Carol Dailey; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on September 22, 2018 at TP Hill Park at White Rock Lake Picnic Pavilion in Dallas, TX. Burial will be September 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Audubon State Park.
