Delores May Ennis

Delores worked at Deere & Company in Moline, IL and then as a secretary with the EVSC where she retired from Harrison High School. She was a long time member of Howell General Baptist Church, and also belonged to the Hadi Shrine Ladies Auxiliary.

Delores and Bobby were “snow birds” and enjoyed their time playing golf in Florida. They also loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Elleser, Joyce Dailey and Martha McCool.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Bobby Joe Ennis; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Entombment will follow at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN.

Memorial contributions may be made to Howell General Baptist Church.
