

He first worked at Nunn Milling Co., then Evansville Electric, and then went on to enjoy a 35 year long career in electrical maintenance at SIGECO. Donald enjoyed outdoor activities such as trap shooting, archery, making bird houses, and fishing. He also enjoyed bowling, working crosswords and jigsaw puzzles, playing games on the computer, and lapidary. Some of Donald’s favorite programs to watch on TV were Wheel of Fortune, basketball, youth baseball and softball.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Shirley A. Boston; and siblings, Mabel, Bill, Leo, Dan, Anna, and Jean.
He is survived by his children, Tina Woolley (David), Scott Boston (Pam), and Teresa Martin (Jeff); grandchildren, Jennifer Woolley Hawkins, Laura Williams (Randy), Donnie Boston (Alicia), William Boston (Olivia), Aaron Martin (Sara), Mendy Martin (Katie), Kristin Weber (Todd); and great grandchildren, Dylan Hawkins, Jude Williams, Adalyn Williams, Ella Boston, Easton Boston, Leighton Boston, Fletcher Boston, Owen Martin, Grace Martin, Max Martin, Bryce Martin, and Reid Bradford.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Larry Lewis. Entombment will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
