Donald G. Deutsch, 80, of Evansville, IN passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at The Terrace at Solarbron. He was born on February 6, 1940 to the late Elmer and Evelyn Deutsch. He retired from Kemper CPA after a lifelong career as a Certified Public Accountant. He was a life-time member of VFW Post # 1114, American Legion # 0008, West Side Nut Club, USI Varsity Club, Tri-State Wood Carvers, and numerous other civic organizations. He proudly served in the US Navy following high school graduation. He was a member of St. Peter’s UCC in Wadesville, IN. Don was a fan in the stands and a strong supporter of the mens and womens USI basketball teams, a frequent attendee at St. Louis Cardinals, was a Nascar fan, a talented woodcarver and a man who loved to travel. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years, Sandra, who passed away in 2004; brothers, Robert and Larry Deutsch. Donald is survived by his wife of 10 years, Ruby; son, Michael Deutsch; daughters, Teresa (Floyd) Koch, Jennifer Deutsch; granddaughters, Sierra and Laura Koch; step-son, Mark (Connie) Yeager; step-granddaughters, Bobbi and Ashley. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Janet Buente with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 and Thursday 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
