Donald L. Muncy

Donald Lee Muncy, 89, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born on October 2, 1929, in Gibson County, IN to the late Harley and Ola (Dawson) Muncy. Donald was a member of Creekside Baptist Church. He had worked in maintenance as a Welder at Alcon Aluminum. After retirement, he worked at Walmart. Donald enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; son, Michael Muncy, brothers, Oliver, Wilber and Jake; and sisters, Glenna, Muriel, Fayette, and Wilma. Donald is survived by his sister, Peggy Hudson (Tom) of St. Louis; daughter-in-law, Sharon Muncy; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Don Moore, with burial in Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, Indiana.
