Lonnie,Dwayne and sister Betty. I'm so sorry to hear of the  passing of   Don. He was like a brother to me and I too will miss the phone conversations.

Always a nice guy, and it shows in his sons.

Dwayne and Lonnie, I am so sorry for the lost of your father. I wish we could had been closer with both of our fathers being brothers, but I moved to Alabama in my early teens and then only seen Uncle Don when I came in to visit. He was loved dearly and will be missed greatly! God bless you and your families and comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Dear Family,I remember my uncle Don as a very handsome,gentle and kind man. Even though I was mostly around him when I was younger,anytime I ever came home to visit...He would alwys call my moms house to speak to me,It was always a pleasure to have a conversation with him. Now he can be with his beloved Sandy and not suffer anymore.I wish for Lonnie and Dwayne much love and strength to get through the loss and smile when they think of him. much love Angie and Kenny (phoenix Arizona)

Often, as a young man, I wished that I could have had a father like him. Even now , when I remember your Mom and Dad, I think of them as "Aunt Sandy & Uncle Don." The passing is hard to bear but to remember and appreciate that he lived his life well and loved his family can provide some comfort. He was a good man and will be deeply missed.

The man who just could'nt do enough.He was truly a walking, living, breathing gift from GOD. We are going to miss you buddy.Always had something funny to say, his joking manner was awesome. What a touching person. Hope to see you on the other side.

We want to express our condolences to Lonnie and Dwayne and their families for their loss. We'll miss our telephone conversations that we had with Uncle Don for the last couple of years. Don was a caring husband and father who worked hard and took care of his family. He was also a caring brother who kept in touch with his family.
