He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He served in the US Marine Corp. 1955-1961, worked at Lockheed Martin assembling F104 Fighters and was a supervisor at Alcoa. Don loved hunting and fishing, building black powder guns and rifles and traveling out west to Deadwood, SD and the Badlands.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 60 years, Deanna Pressley. He married Dee in California in 1958 and after they had their daughters they moved to Evansville, Indiana.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Julian (Daniel) of Indianapolis and Doreen Hayes (Doug) of Burlington, KY; grandchildren, Bill, Tim and Seth Julian, and Liam, Brianna, and Nick Hayes; Great grandchildren, Levi and Elizabeth Julian; and brother, Ed Pressley (Rennie).
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by James Culver. Friends may visit Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. service time.
