Donald E. Robinson, 66, of Evansville, was surrounded by the love of his family as he went to his Heavenly home, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born January 7, 1952 in Evansville to the late Clifford and Jaunita (Johnson) Robinson.
He was formerly employed with Benerson Corporation, Babcock & Wilcox, Alcoa, ISM and he co-owned Mid-America Automation. Don was a longtime member of First Pentecostal Church. He was also a member of Erie Canal Beagle Club, loved coaching soccer and was on several bowling leagues. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, golfing, and especially spending time with family and grandchildren.
Don is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy (Boyer) Robinson; daughters, Krista Jackson (Shawn) and Kelly Robinson; son, Eric Robinson (Tabitha); grandchildren, Ben, Abby and Luke Jackson, Faith, Whitney and Brandon Washington, and Davis, Reid and Lane Robinson; sister, Judy DeLong and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Robinson family would like to thank the nurses at Deaconess 5th Floor MRCC, staff of the Linda E. White Hospice House, DaVita and Specialty Home Health for taking such excellent care of Don over the years.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00AM, Monday, March 12, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Pastor Danny Walker, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2:00 to 8:00PM, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
