He proudly served his country in the Air Force for four years.
Don worked for Creasey Company for 24 years and retired as head buyer.
He was very devoted to his family; spending time with his wife of 56 years and his children was his greatest joy.
Don is survived by his wife; Nina West; daughters, Nancy Gilbert (Gary) and Marjorie Williams; sons, Harold West and Frank West (Tamie) of Chicago; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Katie Gilbert, Lauren, Christien, and Evan West of Chicago; and sister, Martha Shuff (Chuck) of Marblehead, Ohio.
No services will be held. Alexander North Chapel is handling arrangements.
