Donnie was a true outdoorsman. He loved fishing and hunting, but fishing was his favorite. He enjoyed hunting deer with his brothers and best friend, Ron Dickinson. He was a gardener, canner and an avid homemade wine maker. Donnie retired from Sigeco in 2002 after 38 years. He was a member of the Eagles.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertha Cobb; a sister, Connie Dalp; brothers, Bonnie Cobb and Lonnie Cobb.
He is survived by his former wife and companion, Carol L. Cobb; daughters, Tammy Jennings (Tommy), Lori Jennings (Adam); grandchildren, Joshua Gibson, Scott Gibson, Robert Jennings, Angel Jennings, Collin Jennings and Ali Jennings; seven great grandchildren; a brother, George Cobb (Janice); and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel with a burial in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday, December 15, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and Thursday, from 9:30 A.M. until services time.
