Doris worked as an administrative assistant for Owensboro Police Department and later for the Eureka Company where she retired. She enjoyed flower gardening. Faith was important to Doris and she attended church regularly.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer Elliott; brothers, Jerry and Herman Richardson; sister, Kathy York.
She is survived by son, George Devine of Maceo, KY; grandsons, Jeremy and Joe Drahos; sister, Betty Isaacs; brother, Don Richardson; and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel. Family and friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
