Dorothy Jean Crick

Dorothy was a mother of 11 children. She raised her children with love and devotion in Evansville, IN with her husband, George. She enjoyed doing puzzles with her family and quilting.

She is survived by her children, Ron Cross (Linda), Becky Craft, Debbie Peak, Vicky Cross, Dianna Brust (Terry Chanley), Pam Miller (Mike), Robin Greenwell (Mike), Mark Cross (Pam) and Curtis Cross (Elaine). She has 32 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her long-time husband of 49 years, George W. Cross Sr. and her 2nd husband of 6 years, Jack Crick. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, George W. Cross Jr, and Steven N. Cross; and 3 grandchildren, Kasey Collins, Justyn Phillips and Jacob Cross.

Friends may gather for visitation on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN visitation will continue Wednesday, July 2, 2025 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until service time.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin. The final resting place will be at Alexander Memorial Park next to her husband.
