

Dot graduated from Central High School and then became a beautician, serving her family and friends for her lifetime. She met her husband, Kenny, while working at the Franklin Lanes candy counter where he worked as a pinsetter. She was an accomplished bowler. Dot was on a team with her sisters-in-law and mother. They participated in national tournaments for many years. Dot was also a talented seamstress - the go-to for weddings and everything else from awnings to duck blinds. She loved to travel and was often the trip navigator.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenny L. Kissinger; parents, Gilbert and Violet Wildt; brother, Bob Wildt, sisters-in-law, Suzi Wildt, Carol Wildt, and Glenda Houchin; and brothers-in-law, Clarence Kissinger, Larry Kissinger, Warren Kissinger, and Carl Jeffries.
Dot is survived by her brothers, Ronnie Wildt, Gil Wildt, and Tom Wildt (Janna); sister-in-law, Barbara Wildt; sons, Brian Kissinger (Angela) and Steve Kissinger; grandchildren, Sydney Kissinger and Andrew Kissinger; step grandchildren, McKenzie Anslinger (Jonathon) and Tommy Hoffman; great grandson, Benny Anslinger; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor J.D. Rose.
Entombment will follow in Alexander Memorial Park.
Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026 and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Due to Dot's battle with pancreatic cancer, her family would like memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
