Dorothy Evelyne Roman

She is now together forever with her beloved husband, William “Bill” Roman. Evelyne is also reunited with her son, Elbert Roman, and grandson, Jason D. Bruce. Evelyne was also preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Dorothy Bradley; siblings, Dick, Bob, Brad, Joe, Jack and Elizabeth.

Evelyne is survived by her children, Jon Roman (Darla), Ida “Jayne” Bruce, and Cindy Preske; grandchildren, Misti Bruce, Sean, Amber, and Aaron Preske, Bradley Flittner, and Christopher and Eric Roman; as well as six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, John Bradley of California.

Evelyne enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to cook, was an exceptional seamstress and loved crossword puzzles. Gardening was her favorite summer pastime. Evelyne’s home was always full of music. She played accordion and piano. Evelyne and Bill owned ABC Appliance Repair for many years, for which she was the bookkeeper. She later did office work at Marver’s Jewelers. Most recently Evelyne was an adult home health aide.

There will be a private family service.
