Dorothy Juanita Wells, 80, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at University Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born January 20, 1934, in Shetlerville, IL to the late Virgil and Christina (Foe) Anderson.
She enjoyed singing and playing piano.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles W. Wells.
She is survived by her son, Gary Slinky Wells; daughters, Cynthia Fuller and Karen Welch; brother, Earl Anderson; grandchildren, Stephanie La Mar and Shabree Folsom; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Peyton and Natalie La Mar and Landon Shadrick; nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 7, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. James R. (Bob) Duff, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
