Dorthea Lee Schell

Dorthea “Dot” Schell, 93, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Deaconess Midtown. She was born July 1, 1927, in Velpen, Indiana to the late Hugo and Margie (Howard) Dearing. Dot enjoyed traveling, camping, country music and the St. Louis Cardinals. She and her husband enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and were members of the Wings of Shasta Club. She was a very active member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a church officer. She was a current member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, where she worked in the Food Pantry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Schell. Dot is survived by her sons, Ron Schell (Sandy) and Roger Schell (Brenda); and two grandsons, Mark and David Schell. Private family services will be held.
