He was a Restaurant Manager and started working in his family’s restaurant, Orange Julius, when he was 14. He enjoyed playing golf and guitar. He participated in charity work and enjoyed spending time with his dogs. He loved his family. He was a loving husband and wonderful father. He was always there for anyone who needed help.
Douglas is survived by his wife of 21 years, Karen Stockwell; son, Jarrod Stockwell, both of Henderson; parents, Douglas D. and Helen Stockwell of The Villages, FL; brother, Brad Stockwell and wife, Rachel of West Palm Beach, FL and their son, Samuel Stockwell; and many extended family members.
Memorial services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit Saturday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
