Doyle Anthony Fuchs

Doyle Anthony (“Tony”) Fuchs, 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, in Evansville, IN. Tony was a 1972 graduate of Reitz High School. He worked for over 35 years at East Side Marine as a marine mechanic after serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a dedicated cat advocate and an accomplished bowler, with four sanctioned 300 games. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Beatrice Fuchs, and his brothers Richard, Norman, and Gerald Fuchs. His devoted wife, Ellen (the former Ellen Jamison Cox) survives him. He is also survived by his son Aaron, his sister Darlene Sturgeon (Robert), and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Alexander West Funeral Home. Friends may visit 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
