She was a previous member of Washington Avenue Presbyterian Church, a current member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, and a graduate of Bosse High School. She met her late husband, Thomas, writing letters to soldiers overseas through the USO.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Thomas Chenoweth, in 1990; parents; and daughter, Kathleen Meyer.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Darlene) Chenoweth; grandchildren, Aaron (Shannon) Chenoweth, Amber Chenoweth, and Russell (Heather) Meyer; great-grandchildren, Tyler Meyer, Skyla and Silas Chenoweth.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
