Nancy, Peggy and Neal

I am sorry to hear about Aunt Betty. I have known her all my life, remember the good times going to Betty and Paul's, the parents would play cards and we were banned to the downstairs :) to play with the toys, and ping pong, and anything else we could get into. We would get $2 bills from Paul for Christmas. Betty was my mom's best friend, and I thank her for always being there for my mom, even with a phone call.
She was such a loving person and I have alot of lifetime memories of her and Paul. God Bless you all.

Our deepest sympathy to you all. Betty was Jim's godmother and I have known Betty and Paul both for the last 39 years that I have been a member of the Vornberger family.  The many "family" dinners together will always remain in our memories as well as the compassion that Jim and Paul shared for coin collecting.  Jim remembers spending many a Saturday at their house and they would buy him a model airplane and he would fly it.  The puzzles they loved to do and the train set in their basement---just a few of many memories that will always remain,  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all...Love Jim, Cindy, Andrea and Andrew Vornberger

Silly me. Betty would get a chuckle I forgot to sign my entry. It was Mary Ellen Ziliak, the three year neighbor friend entry.

At 92 Betty still had the spark of 29. My three years living near her were blessed with time spent chatting and walking the Kenzi loop. She inspired me to make the most of life's challenges. Her memory was usually better than mine and she would remind me if I repeated a story to her. I was blessed to have her as a loyal friend and prayer warrior for me and my family. Fond memories forever. My sympathy to the family she was so proud to have.

I was going to be there today, and was on my way, but I got a call from work and had to go back home.  Betty was such a sweet person.  I have so many memories of her from my entire lifetime.  Love to all of you.  I'm going to post some pictures

I was very saddened to see that Miss Betty has passed away! I will never forget the 3 years I knew her while working at Kenzi Estates. I enjoyed seeing her take her daily walks around the neighborhood, and joining her on occasion.  She was a great lady and will be dearly missed by all!

Betty was enduring figure in our lives. She was a great mother-in-law and wonderful grandmother to our four daughters. Even with her blindness in later years she loved meeting people of all ages and her mind stayed sharp. Like her sister Dorothy and brothers Val and Charles, she was product of the Great Depression where she learned that the next meal could not be taken for granted. She and Paul were nonetheless very generous with love and material support.

I only knew Elizabeth (Betty) for a relatively short time but what a positive influence she's been in my life. I was fortunate enough to have her on my route on the Meals-on-Wheels program and I can't say enough about the genuine joy she brought to those around her. Even when she was enduring difficult circumstances she kept the most positive attitude which was so infectious. She's been an inspiratation and blessing and may God please keep her and her family in his loving arms....

Touched by everyone who knew her.  A very special friend to my wife Elaine.  I look forward to seeing her again and she'll be able to see us.  Enjoy your very special place in heaven Miss Betty

What a great lady.  I've known her all my life.  Paul and Betty came to many of our family gatherings.  I can remember the time Betty and Paul came with Aunt Helen and Uncle Stanley to Adams County, Ohio to visit me at the bank that I work at.  I will never forget the tour I gave them of the Bank and how much they enjoyed the day.  
The Friendship that Betty had with my Mom (Rita) was priceless.  They spent many hours on the phone, even up to her last days.

Dear Peggy and Neal, so sorry on your loss of a precious soul. I I will miss you bringing  her to our 5 p. m. mass out here at St. Joe church.She always wanted to make sure she knew who you were. she loved her savior and her faith was so strong. she is with her savior now. My heart goes out to you. you  were  so good to her. you always made her comfortable in her pew than you were happy and knowing she was where she wanted to be. then you would take your place beside Neal. sorry you have to go throw this but, God has the plan.please know I care. Betty was my friend.  Her personality was larger than life and I am sure everyone who had the fortune to meet her knew it.  I will never forget her.  The world is at a loss for her passing.  She will be greatly missed.  Rita Brown of Meals on Wheels of Evansville ("her friends")  Thanks Betty for being such a wonderful friend to us all!!!  God bless.
