

Liz graduated from State Teacher’s College (now University of Wisconsin) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art. She worked as a designer for WPA (Work’s Progress Administration) during WWII, which provided jobs for women. She enjoyed painting, gardening, bird watching, and the Evansville Art Museum.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Kottler, her parents, and siblings, Angeline (Pasler) Plamenig (Matthew), Julie (Pasler) Kay (Edwin), Little Jerome Kay, and Anthony Pasler (Josephine).
Liz is survived by her daughters, Angela Julie (Kottler) Cayne and her children, Aaron Brussat (Kendra), Tanya (Brussat) Webster (Will), David Thorr Brussat, Raven (Cohen) Hamilton and Moses Cohen (Becky); and Ruth (Kottler) Strnad and her children, Heather (Brussat) Meyer (Mike) and Melanie Brussat (Matthew); and great grandchildren, Brian Barillas, Lina Hamilton, Taylor Webster, Nathan Brussat, Jordan Brussat, Jack Hamilton, Jonathan Brussat, Micah Brussat, Mary Grace Brussat, Finnian Skopek, and Orion Skopek; niece, Marianne Middleton; nephews, James Plamenig (Karen) and Alan Kay (Yvonne).
No public services will be held.
