Eva Mae Osborne

Eva Mae Osborne, 79, of Evansville, IN passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born on May 19, 1946, in Rockport, IN to the late Alonzo Lee and Emma Jane (Musgrave) McDaniel.

Eva married the love of her life, Robert J. Osborne, in 1964. She much enjoyed planting flowers and beautifying her yard. Together with her beloved dog Fritz, they loved spending time with their friends. Eva retired from Whirlpool Corp. She was a lifelong caretaker of many and a friend to all with an always open front door. Eva was an unstoppable distributor of homecooked food to family, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Osborne; parents, Alonzo and Emma Jane; grandson, Robbie Whitledge; brother, Gary McDaniel; sister, Sharon McDaniel; and dog, Leroy.

Eva is survived by her son, Mark T. Osborne, Sr. (Denise Vega); daughter, Leta Mounts (Ron Goedde); grandchildren, Jestin Mounts (Emily), Tuesday Mounts, Denver Mounts (Maria), and Mark Osborne, Jr.; dog, Fritz; sister, Sue Stahl; niece, Beverly Sharp; nephew, Gary McDaniel, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714, officiated by Rev. Ron L. Bonds. Friends and family may visit on Monday from Noon until service time at the funeral home.
