Evadean M. Sickbert, 95, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born June 2, 1925 in Evansville, IN to the late Elmer and Maude (Coleman) Paulson.
She worked at Kuester’s Hardware and retired from North High School. She was a Charter Member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, long time member of the Womens Circle and Sew and So Gals; and volunteered at Good Samaritan and Evansville Christian Life Center. Evadean enjoyed traveling, quilting, camping and people watching. She dearly loved being a grandma and great grandma! She was a selfless, caring, woman of God who never hesitated to help others. She was rarely without a smile, and brought joy into the lives of everyone she met. She will be missed by many.
Evadean was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 59 years, Irvin W. Sickbert; and brother, Elmer Paulson Jr.
She is survived by her son, Randy Sickbert (Donna) of Dallas, GA; daughters, Shirley Sickbert of Clinton Twp, MI, and Bonnie Moore (William) of Harrison Twp. MI; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, with a future Celebration of Life Service in the summer of 2021.
