Fern Evelyn Egan

She worked for many years in Home Healthcare and loved caring for others, especially her family. Fern enjoyed flowers and crafts, and was very experienced at creating floral arrangements for weddings. She attended Harwood Baptist Church.

Fern was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Egan; mother, Sadie (Cavins) Williams; brother, Gary Williams; and uncle, Tremble Cavins.

She is survived by her children, Donald (Josie) Egan and Angela Reisinger (Kirk) Egan; grandchildren, Amanda, Amber, Christopher and Jonathan; seven great-grandchildren, sister, Norman Moorhead; brother, Guy Williams; family brother and son, Gary Clark; “Son from Another Mother”, Steven Mitchell; several nieces and nephews; and beloved cat, Calli.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 16, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Karl Crowe, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
