He served in the Navy from 1952 – 1956. Fieldon attended the Honor Flight in May, 2018. He was a member and a Deacon at Forest Hill Baptist Church. Fieldon enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and golf. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Fieldon was preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years, Elizabeth (Stewart) Pugh; his second wife of 10 years, Phyllis (Payne) Pugh; his parents; brother, Donnie Pugh (Judy); two nieces; brother-in-law, Bob Hinton; and sister-in-law, Karen Pugh.
He is survived by his special friend, Tina Chappell; daughter, Phyllis Sisson (Tom); son, David Pugh (Karen); daughter, Lana Sisson (Bob); seven grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenny Pugh and Cecil Pugh (Kathy); sister, Joyce Hinton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank DaVita North and the Nephrology doctors, Dr. Juran, Dr. Reddy and Dr. Pradhan for their care and compassion that was shown to Fieldon and our family.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June, 18, 2019 at Alexander North Chapel with Pastor Tyrone Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday 2-8pm and Tuesday 9-11am at Alexander North Chapel.
