

Lee was born in Columbus, Indiana and was raised in Seymour, Indiana.
He entered the US Army in 1943 and served in Belgium, Holland, France, and Germany during WWII. Lee fought in the Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge) as well as other areas of Europe.
Lee attended University of Evansville, became employed in the heating and air conditioning industry and went on to start his own business in HVAC service and contracting. Lee stayed active in veteran’s activities and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1114.
He enjoyed outdoor activities including, hunting, fishing, and trap and skeet shooting in which he won competitions and went on to become a shooting instructor at area gun clubs.
Lee was a member of St. Benedict Cathedral Parish.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jane M. Jordan; daughter, Martha Hendricks and daughter-in-law, Ardie (Sherretz) Jordan.
He is survived by daughter, Cathy Sulak of Pacifica, CA; sons, Matt Jordan of Evansville, Mark Jordan (Cheryl) of Greenfield, IN, and Craig Jordan of Evansville; grandchildren, Sydney Sulak, Hannah Sulak, Matthew Jordan, Jr., Michael A. Jordan, Katie Jordan, Ashley Jordan, Michelle Jordan, and Ben Jordan; sisters, Anita Steinkamp and Janet Lego; and brother, Philip Jordan.
Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, March 13, 2014, at St. Benedict Cathedral, 1328 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Fr. Jason Gries, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum, with military rites performed by the Retired Veterans Memorial Club. Friends may visit Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, and Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at church.
