

Fred joined Keller-Crescent Company in Evansville, IN in June of 1957. Fred became Executive vice-president of Marketing and Sales and retired as a part owner. After 37 years with the company, he retired from Keller-Crescent in 1993 and founded Kitch & Schreiber, Inc., a marketing and advertising sales firm, which is still in existence today.
Fred Kitch attended Morgan Park Military Academy in Chicago. He was a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and graduate classes at University of Evansville. Fred was a US Army Veteran.
Fred was president of the Welborn Hospital Foundation Board for ten years, President of the Evansville Rescue Mission, and was instrumental in the building of the Youth Care Center. Fred was on many boards throughout his years including, SWIRCA, Evansville Museum, and past recipient of the Silver Medal Award from the Tri-State Advertising Club. He is a member of the Evansville Country Club, Kennel Club, and formerly of Oak Meadow and the Petroleum Club.
Fred was a charter member of Trinity Anglican Church and helped form and start the new church in Evansville, which began initially in their home.
Fred is survived by his wife of 35 years, Beverly; two sons, Bill and wife Naomi of Georgetown, IN and Michael Hile and wife Claudia of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Aaron Kitch and Jaclyn Kitch of Indianapolis and Josseline Acevedo of Nashville, TN. Fred is also survived by a brother, Darwin Mendozza and wife Muriel of Ft. Worth, TX.
The family would like to thank Deaconess Hospice, and especially Jim, for their wonderful care and attention to all aspects of his needs. Special thanks to Megan Brown, Michelle Petry, and Sabrina Broeker for helping take such wonderful care of Fred during his long illness.
The visitation will be at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel on Friday, June 3, from 4 to 8 PM. The funeral will be Saturday morning at Trinity Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. David Straw, at 10:30 AM located (within Sheperd of the Hills Lutheran Church) at 3600 Oak Hill Road, Evansville, IN 47710, with entombment at Oak Hill Mausoleum.
All donations should be made to Trinity Anglican Church building fund.
