George E. Harrington

George E. Harrington, 79, of Evansville, IN passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital. George was born May 18, 1942 to the late Herbert Leroy nd Printha (France) Harrington. George was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army. He was the president of the Evansville Coin Club for several years. George been as umpire, and retired from whirlpool after 37 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Herbert W. Harrington. George is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maryanna Harrington; son, Mark Harrington; daughter, Debra Harrington; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Tom Wenig.
