George was a great man who fiercely loved and provided for his faithful and loving wife of 35 years, Judy. He was extremely hard-working beginning a successful career at Poole Trucking in Henderson. Then, he took a risk and built a successful home repair business (literally) with his own two hands. His “retirement” over the last several years was the busiest, hardest working “retirement” any of us had ever seen. He was deeply involved in full construction projects just weeks prior to his passing at the age of 81.
He enthusiastically volunteered his immense skills and great working attitude to three building restoration projects which became the One Life Church campuses in Henderson, and Evansville's west and east side. Thousands of people in the Tri-State have enjoyed his handiwork without even knowing it. He was known for his great sense of humor, and loved spending time with his large circle of friends and family in the Evansville area.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at One Life East Church, 333. Plaza East Blvd. Evansville, IN.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at One Life Church with Pastor Matt Breivogel officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Henderson KY.
As much as flowers are a kind gesture, we know that George would want anyone to take that same money and use it for something intensely practical. So, because One Life was a passionate project for George, donations in his honor will be received for new carpet in the kids area.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com for the Kline family.
