She was first a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and later of St. James West United Methodist Church. Gloria and her husband Jack were members of the VFW Post #1114.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Jack Austin Fickas; parents, Dello and Lena Dorsey; brother, Lamont Dorsey Sr.; sisters, Loyola Temme, Norma Cook and Doris Lutterbach.
She is survived by sons, Jack A. Fickas Jr. (Joy) and Timothy A. Fickas (Michele Royster); grandchildren; Justin Fickas, Kimberly Smart, Ashley Fickas and Andrew Fickas; great grandchildren; Austin, Jaxson, Reese and Aiden.
A private funeral service officiated by Pastor Gene Backes was held with interment at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
