

Harry was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Korean War at the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. He retired from AT&T after 37 years of service. Following retirement, Harry worked part-time at Wal-Mart West. He was a member of the Lessing Masonic Lodge #464 and the Hadi Shrine. Harry enjoyed golfing, spending time with his grandchildren, and was an avid UE Aces fan. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and will be greatly missed by everyone.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan (Don) Breivogel, Roseann Derk and Karen Kellams all of Evansville; a half-sister, Mavis Kellams of Kokomo, IN.; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife of over 63 years, Doris (Tieman); sister, Louise Bradshaw; and half-brother, David Kellams.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel with Rev. Kenny Palmer officiating, and burial with military honors in Alexander Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023 and from Noon until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Walk throughs by the Hadi Shrine and Scottish Rite will begin Sunday at 4:00 pm, followed by a Masonic Service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots.
