Helen F. Woods

Helen F. Woods, 92, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Home. She was born on August 25, 1927, in Monroe, Michigan, to the late Howard and Marie (Fountain) Ravary.

Helen retired from Welborn Hospital where she was a dietary office clerk for many years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she volunteered in many activities. Helen also volunteered at the Horizon Homes Recreation Center in many activities. She was an avid reader and enjoyed walking and exercising. She loved playing cards. Helen loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kay Lynn Woods and several brothers and sisters.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Karen Nelson (Billy) and Kitty Claybrooks (Bruce); sons, Keith Woods (Kathy), Robert Woods (Tana) and Ronald Woods; grandchildren, Michelle Titus (Tom), Jennifer Keck (John), Kayla Crowe, Clayton Amos, Kema Bryant (Wade), Kimberly Woods, Angel Daugherty, Harley, Malachi and Skyler Westerfield; great grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Kathryn, Emily, Sara, Renee, Chase, Aubrey, Hailey, Carter, and Jake; multiple brothers and sisters; and nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Her wish was to be cremated.
