

She was a life member of the National Education Association and a member of the Indiana and Evansville Retired Teachers Association. Irma Jean was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, growing flowers, sewing and antiques.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Rodgers; sister, Helen E. (Rodgers) Weber; and brother-in-law, Charles A. Weber.
She is survived by her beloved dog, Jenny; cousins, Leroy Hubbard, Sharon Tannenbaum, Flo Babos, William Hubbard, Ray Hubbard, Helen Martin and Roy (Linda) Dick, who was her guardian.
Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Eric Martin, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
