Jack was a retired truck driver for Skyline in Jasper, Indiana.
He attended Elberfeld First Baptist Church.
Jack loved his grandchildren very much and especially enjoyed taking them fishing.
He is preceded in death by two sisters, Jerdie Jones and Janet Rhodes; and a brother, Jim Hatfield.
Jack is survived by his wife, Sharon Hatfield; son, Jack Hatfield, US Air Force (Tamara); step son, Mark Lewis (Aly); step daughter, Lisa Dawson (Gary); sister, Judy Schulz (David), and seven grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Schulz, Jr. Friends may visit Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
