He was a member of the Evansville Athletic Club and enjoyed watching car races.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Sue Hayhurst; and daughters, Lana Wheeler and Mickey Hayhurst.
He is survived by his sons, Dan Wheeler and Paul (Angie) Hayhurst; daughters, Jackie (Scott) Fenneman and Tammy Hayhurst; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jenny Duncan and Phyllis Fitzgerald; and brother, Gary (Donna) Hayhurst.
Services will be 7:00 PM Friday, December 23, 2011, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Steve Clayton. Friends may visit Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
