Jacqueline Isabel Schuerger

She was formerly a registered nurse at Deaconess and St. Mary’s Hospitals. Jacqueline was a member of St. Johns East United Church of Christ and Daughters of the American Revolution. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking, shopping, and sewing. She especially loved decorating for every holiday.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Schuerger (2013); son, Keith R. Schuerger (2010); and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Kent L. Schuerger (Donna); grandchildren, Lynsey M. Marfilius (Jason), Logan R. Schuerger; Ellen H. Schuerger Nebelung (Eric); and Margaret E. “Gretl” Kay (Carl); great-grandchildren, Anniston Isabel Marfilius, Cruz Foster Marfilius, and Eloise Elizabeth Kay; sister, Emma “June” Niccum and nieces.

A Visitation to pay respects to her family will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue. Jackie will be cremated with burial at a later date.
