Jacquelyn "Jackie" Weygandt Mills

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Mills, 82, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born May 4, 1932, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late William and Katherine (Pepple) Weygandt.

She was a great wife and mother. She was a member of Boeke Road Baptist Church and had enjoyed making center pieces for her past churches. She and her husband, Donald, were missionaries to Haiti for 17 years. She had also worked as a florist.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald H. Mills; daughter, Sharon (Victor) Grisham of Wadesville; son, David M. (Sylvia) Mills of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Lori (Eric) Nenneker, Jeff (Sarah) Grisham, Kenneth (Cady) Mills, and Eric (Tiffany) Mills; and great-grandchildren, Natalie, David and Grace Nenneker, and Noah, Kaitlyn and Jaden Mills.

Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Boeke Road Baptist Church, 2601 South Boeke Road, officiated by Dr. Gayle Russ. Friends may visit Thursday from 5:30 PM until service time at the church.
