Jacquelyn Jo Shell

Jacquelyn "Jackie" Jo (Pasco) Shell, 56, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. She was born on October 1, 1968, in Evansville to the late Norman Edward Pasco and Donna Fay (Shelton) Pasco.

A lifelong resident of Evansville, Jackie attended Central High School and spent much of her career sharing her talents as a baker at The Baker’s Rack and Cookies by Design in Newburgh and Evansville. She was known by many as the “best dough roller in town.”

Jackie had a vibrant spirit and a love for the simple joys in life—rock ’n’ roll music, fast cars, and fun times. She proudly drove an old IROC with shining rims and turned heads wherever she went. She loved visiting the casino and cherished the time she spent playing bingo with her parents. Jackie dedicated many years to caring for her mother and father, selflessly putting her own life on hold to ensure they were loved and cared for. She kept her promise to them, and her devotion will never be forgotten.

Above all, Jackie had a big heart. She was always concerned about the well-being of her children and extended her love and generosity to everyone around her. If she had it and you needed it, she would make sure you got it. Family meant everything to her, and she especially treasured the time she spent with her beloved grandson, Elias. She also enjoyed long phone conversations and visits with her lifelong friend, Sharon Condon.

Jackie is survived by her son, Eric Buchenberger (Brooke Lant); daughter, Breanna Heth; cherished grandson, Elias Buchenberger; brother, Tim Pasco (Lisa); and niece, April Goins (Chris). She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Donna Pasco, and her nephew, Timothy Pasco, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive. Family and friends are invited to gather from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with services beginning at 11:30 a.m. Jackie will be laid to rest beside her beloved parents.
