James F Geiser

Jim was a proud graduate of F.J. Reitz High School, class of 1956. He served his country by being in the Army Reserve for 5 years. He spent his entire career in banking, retiring from Spencer County Bank in 2001 as Branch Manager. Jim loved baseball and was an Atlanta Braves fan. He was an active member of St. Paul’s UCC, where he served as Treasurer and Usher. James enjoyed going to Bally’s Casino with his close friends, Dickie and Elise.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia (Breeze) Geiser; infant daughter, Annie Susan Geiser; brother, George Geiser, Jr; sister, Karleen Lindenberg; and son-in-law, Tom Ledbetter.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Janet O’Reilly (Tim), and Jill Ledbetter; grandson, Michael O’Reilly; granddaughter, Morgan O’Reilly; grandson, Christopher Peter; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor J.D. Rose. Friends and family may visit from 3:00 pm. until service time at the funeral home.
