He worked for Brinks Inc. and enjoyed the outdoors and his family.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Pamela Mathis; son, James E. Mathis II, and wife Staci; daughter, Dawn Rutter; grandchildren, Kaula and Courtney Ford, Kyle Hildenbrand, Conner Faver, Bryant, Brandon, Braxton Mathis, Amanda and husband Johnathon VanBibber, Heather Grigsby, Samantha and Robert Grimm, Meka Murphy; and great-grandchild, KayLynn Vanbibber.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 4, 2011 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jack Feldbusch. Friends may visit Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel.
