He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Tonya Peveler; sister, Thelma Terry; brother, Clifford Jones.
James is survived by; daughter, Tracy Pease (Tracy); grandchildren, Jamie Peveler and Justin Peveler; great-grandchild, Daniel Peveler; and brothers, Norman Poe (Karen) and Wayne Jones (Joyce).
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
