Jeffery Joseph Buckman

Jeffery " Jeff" Joseph Buckman, 65, of Evansville, IN passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born in Morganfield, KY on March 24, 1959 to Sterling R. Buckman and Betty J. (Anderson) Buckman. Jeff enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and spending time on the CB radio. He went by the handle “Sandman”. He loved his dog, Kapone, and especially loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie L. (Higgs) Buckman; father, Sterling R. Buckman; and grandson, Justin Ray. Jeff is survived by his daughters, Melissa Ray, and Heather Buckman (Eric Cooper); significant other, Charolette Caldwell; mother, Betty J. Buckman; brothers, Danny Buckman and Freddy Buckman; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery - Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Steve Clayton.
