Jolene Seltzer

She was raised in Warrick County and graduated from Boonville High School in 1956. Jolene worked various jobs, the longest of which were at Alcoa and Fetter Properties. She was an active member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.

She was married to Bill Scales from 1956 -1968, and together they had four children whom she is survived by; Tony Scales (Coleen), Todd Scales (Kathy), Brad Scales (Donna) and Tracy Devoy (Kevin); grandchildren, Allie Evans, Caroline Trotter, Andrew Scales, Adam Lohr, and Kyle Scales. Jolene married Clif Seltzer in 1972 and added her bonus children, Donna (Walt) Harris, Clifton David Seltzer (Patty) and Bryan Seltzer (Mary); grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Monte Fetter (Karla); and sisters, Cydney Topper (Phil) and Mitzi Walker (Wayne); and beloved dog Carly.

She was preceded in death by Bill and Clif, along with her parents and granddaughter, Kristy Kelley.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 1811 Lincoln Ave. Evansville, IN 47714. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave. Evansville, IN 47714 and from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
