

Joyce S. (Bullock) Tracy, 78, of Evansville, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born November 4, 1935, in Boonville, IN to the late Melvin and Aileen (Adams) Bullock.
She graduated from Boonville High School in 1953 and then attended Lockyear Business College. She had a 30 year career with Indiana Bell/Ameritrade as an Administrative Executive Assistant and was a 30 year member of Olivet Presbyterian Church.
Joyce had many close friends and was always ready to help care for them in any way. She had many cats throughout the years whose companionship she enjoyed immensely. An avid flower gardener, Joyce loved roses to petunias and could always be found working in the garden. She created and maintained beautiful flower gardens at Olivet Church.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 35 years, James W. Tracy; brother, Gerry Bullock of St. Louis, MO; step-son, Steve (Sheri) Tracy of Nashville, TN; step-daughters, Christina (Thierry) Tracy Perrein of Greenich, CT and Laura (Jim) Tracy Frasier of Atlanta, GA; and granddaughters, Megan and Claira Tracy.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 16, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Dave Mills. Friends may visit Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
