Judith Schminke Campbell

Judy graduated from Central High School Class of 1959 and was the class treasurer. She and her husband owned Campbell Electric. Judy was a member of Blue Grass United Methodist Church where she was involved with Feed My Sheep Senior Meal Program and Blue Grass Belles Handbell Choir. She was also a member of Daughters of the Nile.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Campbell; and her parents, Marvin and Jessie (Ross) Schminke.

She is survived by her daughters, Penny Staples (Alan) and Christy Vaughn (Bill); brother, Donald Schminke (Josephine); sister, Debra Haugh; sister-in-law, Gayle Cobb (Mike); grandchildren, Jason Staples (Brandi), Lyndsey Staples, Cole Eckert, and Carissa Eckert; and great-grandchild, Ryder Staples. Judy was fortunate to have many special friends.

Services will be held at noon Friday, March 9, 2012 at Blue Grass United Methodist Church, 14240 Petersburg Rd, Evansville, officiated by Rev. Doug Heiman with burial at Blue Grass Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel and on Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
