She was a graduate of Harrison High School. She had her Associates in Nursing and worked in labor and delivery before working at the family business Working Distributors for many years. She moved to Florida for several years before returning to Evansville to be near her family. Family was everything to Julie, other than her faithful companion Fawn, her rescue dog. She was affectionately known as Jules or Aunt Juju. Julie’s favorite things included spoiling her nieces and great nieces and nephews and cheering on her Miami Dolphins.
In addition to her parents, Julie was preceeded in death by her sister, Baby Working; brother, Jeff Working; and grandparents, Herman and Vi Phillips.
Julie is survived by her uncle and aunt, Stu and Shirley Phillips; sister in law, Pam Working; nieces, Krystle Working Drury and Melanie Beckhart; great nieces and nephews, Maddie Working, Briley Driskell, Kadence Beckhart, Raelynn Beckhart, Jeffrey Drury, and Wyatt Drury; and cousins. Other special survivors include friends Jim Sears and Mary Bruner.
A private visitation and service will be held July 28 with a burial of her ashes at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or an animal rescue of your choice.
