She retired from the Evansville State Hospital after 15 years of service. Karen had many devoted friends. Her motto was “live and let live” and she always amused everyone with the way she could remember and tell jokes.
Karen is survived by her son, Bobby Gray (Whitney); daughter, Lori Jones (David); granddaughter, Aubrey Jones; brothers, Billy Knight (Vicki), Mark Knight (Debi) and David Knight (Martha); sisters, Jenny Blythe and Marcia Ellerbrook (Paul); and her best-friend/sister, Alice Faye Veach (Walter).
Services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Sr. Jennifer Miller. Friends may visit Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
